For over twenty years, San Francisco mom and advocate Dana Woldow worked tirelessly to improve the school food in her own district and nationally. She also created a website, PEACHSF (Parents, Educators & Advocates Connection for Healthy School Food), to generously share with other aspiring advocates everything she’d learned along the way—concise and often funny essays that are packed with useful information and tips, as well as essays written by other experts she enlisted in the cause.
After Dana’s too-early passing in 2017, I became the de facto curator of this invaluable material. Her husband has kindly allowed me to share it here, and I’m honored to do so:
